Dr. Panah is an associate at Barking Dogs Podiatry, and loves being able to see and treat patients in her own hometown! She attended PWHS before completing her undergraduate education locally as well, at Rosemont College in Bryn Mawr, PA. She then completed her podiatric medical school training at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Panah completed her residency at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ, where she received extensive training in all aspects of Podiatric Medicine, including reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, wound care, sports medicine, limb salvage, and diabetic foot conditions. She specializes in both conservative and surgical management of foot and ankle deformities and injuries, including bunion and hammer toe correction, tendon and ligament injuries, and management of arthritic joints.
During her time off, she enjoys spending time and making memories with her family. She and her husband reside in Conshohocken with their baby daughter, who is the light and joy of their lives! They like to stay active together with hiking, dancing, and traveling, but also like relaxing with some good food and movies as well.
Dr. Panah understands how important it is to keep people on their feet and being able to do the things they love. Whether it’s playing sports, running after our kids, or simply carrying out our day to day tasks at home or at work, we shouldn’t have to be limited by pain and or discomfort in our feet. She is happy to be able to use her medical training and tools to help heal her patients, but also very much believes in the healing powers of listening to her patients and getting to know them to be able to help them best.
A famous neuroscientist once said, “Your warmth has more healing power upon the patient than all the medical tools in the world.” Dr. Panah is an avid follower of this philosophy of medicine, believing wholeheartedly that it is not only important for doctors to have the right tools in medicine, but that they are held by kind and caring hands.
She hopes to give back to her hometown and community by providing trustworthy, empathetic, and effective care for her patients of all ages.
